Types of rubber hoses
Rubber hose is a steel wire braided rubber hose. The rubber hose is composed of an inner rubber layer, a steel wire braided layer and an outer rubber layer. It is suitable for conveying hydraulic fluids, such as alcohol, fuel oil, lubricating oil, emulsion, etc. Compared with civilian hoses, industrial operation environments are more complex and harsh, and the requirements for conveying pipes by equipment are also more stringent. Therefore, industrial hoses have strict norms and standards from design, material selection to production, transportation and even final storage. The size range of industrial hoses is wider, the pressure and temperature range is extensive, and the chemical resistance is higher. The application fields of industrial hoses cover various industrial production, manufacturing and circulation sectors. They are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, shipping, shipyards, tank trucks, agriculture, food, beverages, and medicine, as well as in cold and hot water, steam, ventilation, cooling, fire protection, hydraulics, and media such as gas, water, mist, mud water, sand particles, iron particles, and so on.
Industrial-grade rubber hoses, regardless of the medium being water, gas, oil, chemicals or others, are usually composed of inner rubber, outer rubber and an intermediate layer. The middle layer is usually mainly composed of braided components, which serves to enhance the strength of the hose. In addition, there is a common embedded steel wire between the inner and outer rubber, which is suitable for vacuum negative pressure operations. It also comes with conductive wires and is suitable for working environments where sparks are prohibited, such as fuel. To adapt to the physical and chemical conditions of operations in various industries, industrial hoses usually have very strict implementation standards for the chemical raw materials and processes of the inner and outer colloids. Classified by working conditions, common types include: water delivery hoses. It is used in irrigation, horticulture, construction, fire protection, equipment and tanker cleaning, agricultural fertilizer, manure, industrial sewage drainage and other aspects. The inner rubber materials are mostly PVC and EPDM. Hot water and steam hoses. It is used for cooling water in refrigeration equipment, hot and cold water for engine engines, food processing, especially hot water and saturated steam in dairy factories. The inner rubber material is mostly EPDM. Beverage and food hose. It is used for non-lipid products such as milk, carbonated products, orange juice, beer, animal and vegetable oils, drinking water, etc. The inner rubber materials are mostly NR or synthetic rubber. It usually requires standard qualification certifications such as food-grade FDA, DVGWA, KTW or CE. Air hose. It is used in compressors, pneumatic devices, mining, construction and other fields. The inner rubber materials are mostly NBR, PVC composite, PU and SBR. There are usually strict requirements for the applicable pressure.
Weld the hose. It is used in gas welding, cutting and other aspects. The inner rubber material is mostly NBR or synthetic rubber, and the outer rubber is usually made in colors such as red, blue, and yellow to indicate the special gas. Ventilation hose. It is used for the emission of hot air, dust and fog, smoke and dust, chemical gases, etc. The inner glue is mostly made of thermoplastic materials and PVC. Usually, the pipe body has a telescopic design. Material suction and delivery hose. It is used for the transportation of liquids containing solid particles such as gas, mist, powder, granules, fibers, gravel, cement, chemical fertilizers, coal dust, quicksand, concrete, gypsum, etc. The inner rubber materials are mostly NR, NBR, SBR and PU. Generally, the outer rubber has higher wear resistance. Oil transfer hose. It is used in fuel, diesel, kerosene, petroleum and other aspects. The inner rubber materials are mostly NBR, PVC composite and SBR. Usually, there is a conductive steel wire between the inner and outer rubber to prevent sparks. Chemical hose. It is used in acidic, chemical solutions and other aspects. The inner rubber material is mostly EPDM. Usually, this kind requires customized materials and design plans.
